Macbeth is mad in the dagger soliloquy

Macbeth is mad in the scene with the dagger. Macbeth says he sees a dagger floating in the air provoking him to grab it. "Is this a dagger which I see before me/ The handle toward my hand?"(2.1.33-34) This proves that Macbeth is mad because he is seeing an imaginary dagger right in front of him. Hence in the dagger soliloquy Macbeth is mad.

If I was a director

If I was a director I would have Macbeth have no dagger in the dagger soliloquy. Not having a dagger in the soliloquy would make Macbeth look like he is hallucinating and that he is mad. I believe that not having the dagger in the soliloquy would make Macbeth look much more mad and crazy.

Character Assignment

Schmidt in "New Girl" is a man who is very silly and funny, Schmidt is a very judgmental person because when he was a teenager he was overweight and got made fun of a lot so now that he is fit he judges people a lot. Schmidt's attitude toward people is purely based on how the first impression is. He is courageous but he is also trusting because he lives with his roommates in a small apartment building.

Media Analysis Assignment

          I believe that the thesis of this story is that copyright laws are becoming out of hand and people should be able to create new music from old music like Girl Talk, but at the same time I think that a person should be able to keep their original work as their own. I think the film showed bias by showing both sides, the people that want to make new music from old and think copyright laws are ignorant and it shows the side of the people that want to keep their original work to themselves.
          Bias is shown in the story by using many different rhetorical questions and flashbacks of the past to try and change peoples perspective about copyright infringement. The filmmaker uses both sides and bias' to try and bring out and induce people into joining the cause to fight against copyright infringement or to protect it.
         Some entertainment groups or bands even sacrifice the money to create new art such as Girl Talk, but others could be fined without even knowing it such as the women who was fined over $100, 000 because she had downloaded some songs illegally over the internet, this is an example of how people can be fined for something they didn't even mean to do. I believe that it should be the bands choice if they want to copyright their work, and if they say yes they should get the money not the corporations stealing the money from citizens and the creators are getting none. If I buy a song over I-Tunes I want it to go to use not going to some rich corporation.
       I am on both sides because I think it's fair for people to protect their original work but at the same time I believe that people should be able to create new music from others, I really think the fines for copyright infringement are much too overboard and I think they need to be changed.
      I think the movie sets a good example and tries to convince people into joining the cause and to fight for what they want.
